Marshall McKay

Marshall is serving his third term as elected Council Chairman of the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. He began his career in tribal government in 1984 and is committed to cultural renewal and preservation, a focus he extends into education and sustainable land-use practices.  He is a founding member of the Native Arts & Cultures Foundation, board chair of the Autry National Center, and serves on the board of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.
